PROTEIN REFLECTION
Before learning about the structure and function of protein, all I had known, was that most vegetarians lacked protein. I used to think that there was one type of protein and that most plant sourced proteins just didn't have the same amount of protein per gram compared to protein from meat. But now that I have learned about the structure and variations of proteins, I think I am now aware of how certain proteins which are actually made of different amino acids, affect the body. I will now be more conscious on balancing complete and incomplete proteins in my diet, and how to make sure I am getting the essential proteins that my body cannot generate itself and can only be consumed by eating complete proteins.
