IDENTITY FINGERPRINT PROJECT
Fingerprint Paragraph (English) Draft
For this project, each student in my class wrote a piece of Spanish, representing ours identity, on a wooden piece of the fingerprint below. Our intention was to learn how to translate basic Spanish words and also let our individuality be expressed in a final creative piece. We each used different mediums of art, such as paint, fabric, markers, glitter, CDs, and more. I wrote: "Dos cosas definirte: tu paciencia cuando no tienes nada, y tu actitud cuando tu tienes todo." Which translates to "Two things define you: Your patience when you have nothing, and your attitude when you have everything." I chose this quote, because it is something that I truly believe and live by. It means that when you are feeling at your lowest and things get difficult, you just have to be patient and continue to keep working hard. And that when you feel like you have everything in the world, that you should still be humble and considerate of the people around you. We also wrote free-write essays that described a little bit about our character and identity. Click the link above to read my first draft. P.S. It's in English.
