CATAPULT CONCEPT PERSPECTIVE DRAWINGS
For this part of the design process, I was supposed to draw sketches of our catapult prototype to help my group see how the parts fit together. I also used this as an exercise to experiment with perspective points and practice shading. This was really difficult for me because I had to draw exactly what I saw, taking into consideration the angle of the lighting and the exact curvatures. Instead of just drawing it from my imagination, I took pictures of the actual prototype from similar angles and used this as a reference to see how to shade and to figure out which faces of each object that I actually saw than what is commonly misperceived.
